Sunday, April 2

9 AM The Great Bunny Train at National Railroad Museum – National Railroad Museum: From 9am – 5pm The Great Bunny Train will be bringing games, crafts, live entertainment, train rides and, of course, the Easter Bunny to the National Railroad Museum! To purchase tickets, please visit nationalrrmuseum.org/the-great-bunny-train.

10:30 AM Easter Egg Hunt at SPASH: Registration will start at 10:30 am in the main entrance to SPASH. The egg hunt will be held outside in the practice fields starting at 11:15am. There will be 3 age groups: 0-4, 5-8 and 9-12. The eggs will be filled with candy, novelty items and coupons from local businesses.

2 PM Easter Family Celebration at GiGi’s Playhouse Wausau: Join us for a fun gathering for Playhouse families to celebrate all things bunnies! The Easter bunny will make an appearance for pictures! More details to come.

3 PM Mozart’s Requiem: A Community Choral Concert at Grand Theater Wausau: Free to the community, this special concert event features the Wausau Symphony Orchestra conducted by Daniel Larson and a full choir of local voices performing Mozart’s dramatic choral masterpiece, made famous in modern popular culture from the 1984 Oscar-winning movie Amadeus. Advance ticket reservations are strongly recommended.

Saturday, April 8

8 AM Breakfast with the Easter Bunny & Egg Hunt at St Paul’s United Church Of Christ: Join us for our annual, free breakfast with the Easter Bunny & Easter egg hunt. Breakfast will be served 8am-11am. Egg hunt participants must be registered by 9am. Prizes include candy, stuffed animals, toys, Easter baskets etc.

9 AM EggStravaganZoo at NEW Zoo & Adventure Park: Join us for EggStravaganZoo on Saturday, April 8th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as we “hop” into the spring season with family-friendly fun. The colorful, elusive slither-hoppers – a species only found at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park! – will be hiding throughout the Zoo, waiting for you to find them. Tickets for EggStravaganZoo will be $15 per person (kids under 3 are free).

9 AM Eggstravaganza at ThriveChurch: Come join the fun as kids hunt for prize-filled eggs! Egg hunts are scheduled every 30 mins from 9-Noon. This family-friendly event is ENTIRELY FREE with crafts, bounce houses, snacks, petting zoo and prizes! Even the Easter Bunny will be there!

9 AM 2nd Annual Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt at Marathon Park: Come join us for our 2nd Annual Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt. We have created this egg hunt for kids of all ages and will be adding in fun arts and crafts as well as a traditional Easter egg hunt. Ages 6 & Under will start at 10 am, Ages 7 & Older will start at 10:15 am.

10 AM Easter Egg Hunt at Medford City Park: the Broadway Theatre invites you to a FREE Easter Egg hunt. The event will be held in the Park unless its raining! If raining the Hunt will be inside the Broadway theatre. ***WARNING*** even with 4000 eggs the hunt never takes more than 10-20 minutes so don’t be late!

10 AM Easter Egg Hunt at Lion’s Park, Merrill: Merrill Parks and Recreation is hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt at Lions Park at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8. 2023. Bring your children aged 1-12 to this Easter eggstravaganza!

10 AM Downtown Stevens Point Easter Egg Hunt at Mathias Mitchell Public Square: It’s time for the annual Downtown Easter Egg Hunt! This year it will take place on “The Square” downtown Stevens Point. There are 3 age categories for kids 8 and under. Ages 3 and under will begin at 10am with older children to follow. Easter Eggs are stuffed with treats including candy, coupons for local businesses, and slips to receive bikes and Easter baskets!

10 AM 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Celebration for Kids at Willow Springs Garden: Free Kids’ Egg hunt and Spring celebration. Activities include face painting, picture with the Easter bunny, a child-friendly buffet, crafts, and more at the Round Barn. Held rain or shine. 12 PM Easter Egg Hunt for Adults & Kids @ Sawmill Brewing Company at Sawmill Brewing Company: We’re doing our Easter egg hunt for kids AND adults again this year! The Easter Bunny will also be here for pictures and a meet and greet. Chef C’s Munchie Mobile will be joining us this year! They will be serving delicious food starting at noon. Egg hunts will take place outside.

Sunday, April 9

10 AM FREE DRIVE UP EASTER DINNER – EAGLES CLUB 251 at Wausau Eagles Aerie & Auxiliary #251: 10AM – 3PM or until dinners gone. Dinner will be Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Stuffing, Vegetable, Roll and Cookie. Free meals are available to those that need a warm Easter meal. 4 meals maximum per vehicle – 4 meals maximum per address.

Saturday, April 15

10 AM Be The Bunny Enrichment Eggs-travaganza! at Wildwood Park & Zoo: Join us April 15th @10am for our “Be The Bunny” Enrichment Eggs-travaganza! Our animals at Wildwood Zoo are excited for Easter! YOU can help us hide Easter eggs for the animals to find! Pre-purchase a basket full of goodies for select animals, which will include some of their favorite treats that YOU get to hide throughout their exhibit!
