One of my favorite events in Wausau is the Balloon and Rib Fest. Being on-site is a little chaotic, but it’s pretty neat to see the balloons inflate and lift off into the air.

Have you ever enjoyed a pizza at Stoney Acres Farm in Athens, WI? Well, if you’re ever looking for something to do (and somewhere to eat) I highly recommend paying them a visit. They serve up delicious ‘za every Friday and Saturday from 4:30-8:30pm, April 20th – November 3rd. Their address, and helpful information about their pizza nights, can be found on their website. They list their weekly pizza and beer selections on their Facebook page.
