June is almost over and that means it’s time to get ready for the 4th of July! Make sure you’re prepared by checking out Wausau Mama’s list of local patriotic events.
From May 15, 2018 – July 2, 2018 Wisconsin parents are allowed to apply for a “$100 rebate for sales and use tax paid on purchases made for raising a dependent child in 2017”. To find out if you’re eligible and to apply, check out the WI Department of Revenue’s site. There will also be a WI sales tax holiday from August 1 – August 5, during which time clothing and school supply items under $75 will be tax free. For a list of FAQs check out this WI Department of Revenue site. (Make sure you take some time to enjoy summer before thinking about school supplies!)
