Wisconsin’s 5-day sales tax holiday is already underway! Many people will be taking advantage of this discount on school supplies, but did you know that diapers are also tax free? For additional information, check out the WI Department of Revenue’s website.
Do your kids like to see horses, chickens, bunnies, sheep, cows, or pigs? Then make sure you mark your calendars for the Wisconsin Valley Fair, which begins on Tuesday, July 31 at Marathon Park in Wausau.
One of the coolest things I’ve found on the internet recently is the Every Kid in a Park program. If you have a child in 4th grade, they can receive a family pass to see America’s natural wonders and historic sights for FREE!
We love traveling around the country and visiting state and national parks. I hope this program is still around when my kids are in 4th grade!
Monk Botanical Gardens recently added a slew of recurring activities for families and children. Last week, my two kids and I had the pleasure of attending a Tots ‘n Trees class. The gardens are located 2.5 miles North of downtown Wausau. The parking is free, and once inside the gate, there are gravel paths that traverse the gardens.
