Starting January 14, you can get two FREE passes to a Kids Dream Family Film Series movie at Cedar Creek Cinema! This is just one of the free activities for families to enjoy this winter. Read on for more ideas!
Here are a few FREE activities for families this winter:
- Visit the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum to see the exhibits and sculpture gardens
- Pick up a Grab-and-Go craft at MCPL’s Wausau Library or Rothschild Library
- Attend the Faculty Recital at the Wausau Conservatory of Music, 1/23
- Take the family for a hike on one of these local trails
- Attend Winter Fest at the 400 Block, 1/29
- Go sledding at George Street Park in Rothschild or at one of these hills in Wausau
- Walk through the galleries at the Center for the Visual Arts
- Visit the Wildwood Zoo in Marshfield, open daily 7:30am-2:30pm
- Check out one of the fun playgrounds in the Wausau area (they’re even fun in winter!)
