Free Kids Backpack Tag Printables!

Free Kids Backpack Tag Printables!

If you have a young child starting school this year, I’m sure you have many worries. If you’re worried about your child forgetting their bus number &/or losing their backpack then I have a solution for you!

I created two PDFs which you can personalize in Adobe and then print front-to-back with lamination at Office Depot.

The price was reasonable (see tip below), my order was ready the same day, and they were cut and them laminated individually. I was very happy with the result!

  1. Download one of these files: Backpack tag printable – unicorn or Backpack tag printable – car
  2. Open the PDF file (should open in Adobe Acrobat Reader – if you don’t have Adobe, click here)
  3. Use “Fill & Sign” to add text boxes with your child’s info onto every tag. (Unfortunately I don’t know of a faster way to do this.) Here are my examples: Backpack tag printable – car example or Backpack tag printable – unicorn example
  4. When the tags have the information you want, save your PDF file
  5. Go to OfficeDepot.com and select “Print and Copy”
  6. Click “Copies and Flyers”
  7. Click “Upload Your Files” and select the PDF file you saved
  8. Add your PDF file AGAIN (this is necessary to make the tag double-sided)
  9. Click “Upload”
  10. Choose these options:

Add your item to the cart, checkout with free in-store pick-up and you’re done!

When you pick up your order you can use a hole punch to make a hole and then use some yarn or string to attach it to your child’s backpack.

Tip: I used my Honey account to get a $10 bonus on this purchase! (I’m not sure if this deal is available for everyone.) If you don’t have an account yet, you can sign up here.
