At the beginning of June, I participated in an awesome women’s hike hosted by the Central Moraines Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance. We hiked an interesting section of the Ice Age Trail near the Dells of the Eau Claire. I enjoyed the hike, but even more than that I enjoyed the conversations I had with the other women in the group.

After having this great experience, I decided to create my own women’s hiking club. You can find our group on Facebook: Wausau Women’s Hiking Club. We had our inaugural hike earlier this week, and it went really well! If you like the outdoors, I hope you’ll consider joining this group.
